Thank you for your interest in booking Perfectly Painted for your special event! Please take a moment to go over our Terms & Conditions and Retainer Fee details.
We have your children’s safety and interests in mind at all times and as a result we reserve the right not to face paint under certain conditions outlined below.
a.) We will not paint anyone who is obviously unwell (runny nose/temperature/rash) or any other visible skin complaint (eczema, chicken pox, cold sore, open wounds, eye infections, etc). We are happy to provide an arm design instead.
b.) We will not paint anyone against their wishes (this may result in stopping painting before the final result if a child becomes uncomfortable or changes their mind). Please do not force your child to be painted if they are uneasy or unwilling – face painting should be an enjoyable experience!
The artist reserves the right to work in a safe and comfortable environment. If at any time the artist feels uncomfortable (due to guests’ inappropriate behaviour, unsafe working environment, etc.) we reserve the right to leave the event immediately with full payment.
We are able to provide our own table if necessary. For indoor events, please specify whether we must bring our own table or if you can provide one for us.
Keep these points in mind when preparing an area for us:
a.) For outdoor events, we require an area protected from weather including rain, strong wind, sun and cold temperatures.
b.) For all events, we would prefer an area away from loud noises and music, including DJs and speakers. It’s important for us to communicate with your guests.
c.) When providing a table for us, please make sure it’s large enough to accommodate our supplies. A 2 ft x 4 ft folding table or larger will be best.
d.) For all events, we will require a well-lit area and access to water.
Bookings are not confirmed until we have received all relevant information about the event (including location, contact details, etc.) and a 25% non-refundable retainer fee.
The retainer fee will be refunded if:
a.) The artist is unable to attend your event because of illness or emergency.
b.) The artist is unable to attend your event because of extreme weather conditions.
c.) The booking is cancelled at least 14 days (2 weeks) in advance.
If the artist cannot attend your event due to illness or emergency, we will do our best to find a replacement for you.
If the organizer wishes to change the date of the event (within 2 months), the retainer fee will be applied to the new date.
The retainer fee can be paid through Paypal, e-money bank transfer, cheque or cash.
The remaining payment will be due during your special event, in the form of cash or cheque.
